Israeli PM: All Options Open on Iran
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert warned Monday that all options are open when it comes to keeping Iran from obtaining atomic weapons, his clearest sign yet that Israeli could use force against a nation considered among its most serious threats. Addressing a closed meeting of the parliament's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Olmert was quoted as saying that Israel would not accept an Iran armed with nuclear weapons. Iran has always insisted that its nuclear weapons program is for peaceful purposes, and a recent report by U.S. intelligence agencies concluded that Iran suspended its nuclear weapons program in 2003. However, Israel continues to warn that Iran's goal is to acquire nuclear weapons. Israel considers Iran a serious threat because of suspicions over its nuclear program and its long-range missile capabilities.
Gun-toting man taunts cops with video clip
Reputed gang member Bird Road Rudy found a 21st century way to antagonize his foes at the Miami-Dade Police Department: Taunt them on YouTube. Someone posted five videos in the past week of Rudy Villanueva, aka Bird Road Rudy, and his pals hanging out and drinking in parks and moving cars around Southwest Miami-Dade. A particularly inflammatory clip features Villanueva and a companion waving assault-style rifles and handguns while mocking police. ''We out here fighting the cold war,'' Villanueva says, holding up two rifles. ``Metro-Dade Gang Unit, here I am, baby. You know you hate seeing me like this.'' A friend standing with him who looks like Turtle from HBO's Entourage with a backward black cap and oversized T-shirt chimes in, ``Come get it, n-----.'' Both of them point their weapons at the camera as Villanueva wraps up: ''Come get some whenever you're ready,'' he says.

FBI and UK police planning global suspect database
British police are in talks with the FBI about setting up an international database with details of irises, palms and fingerprints to help catch criminals and terrorists, it has been revealed. The project, known as Server in the Sky, would enable biometric details and measurements as well as personal information of suspects to be swapped between countries. It is being coordinated by America but discussions are being held with the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand all of which have formed a working group, the International Information Consortium, to plan their strategy. .
